When i shoot this photos sounds like lighting is most important consideration. Where I do it I have to set up the lights and what kind of lights do I need for the metal product to ensure the pictures look like smooth and hard. I used the lowest ISO speed and adjust the exposure meter to under-exposure while I take it....
